today’s the second last day of 2010.

oh  wells,

the Year’s coming to an end,

and God has been really great.

Church camp, people, and all.

and the small miracles He has done for me.

really really, great.

and really enlightened me.

and today’s teaching really taught me the background work and stuff,

like how the church grew about and stuff.

I really thank God so much,

for seeing me through the tough times

like even now,

God is here beside me.

Jer 29:11 “For i know the plans i have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Our God is an awesome God.

but nonetheless will NEVER compromise my diary.

Today learning about BPD really enlightens me a lot about my walk with the Lord altogether,

like whether am i doing it right, or am i doing it any-o-how, that kind of thing.

it may be tiring, but i believe much enlightenment has been made.

after lunch was office attachment,

its been quite a while since i felt so stressed-out,

but i learnt how to control it and really, give my best shot to God no matter what happens.

Im always very very encouraged when i see children of God working with smiles, and never complaining. (:

Ending with this verse:

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

will try to add on more when im less tired.>.<

Honestly, i dun rmb anything about today.

I mean, there’s so much to learn about the person and the works of the Holy Spirit,

yet, i can’t remember a single thing.

somehow, idk.

and a lot a lot from Ps 63,

like,

“Because your love is better than life”

one day, im going to meditate on Ps 63.

Anyways,

im always always forever inspired by Worship songs (:

like today limin led in Hosanna by Paul baloche, Hosanna by hillsong, and heart of worship.

and im always very awed by the latter 2 (:

and the bridge of hosanna by hillsong always triggers me,

“Heal my heart and make it clean

Open up my eyes to the things unseen

Show me how to love, like you’ve loved me

Break my heart for what breaks yours

Everything i am for your kingdom’s cause

As i walk from earth into, Eternity”

This Bridge really triggers me in the sense that,

if we depend on the power of God,

much much more can be seen.

walking alongside with God,

and the trinity, allows us to do the above,

to have a heart that follows after God,

Matt 6:33 says,

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”

I mean, His grace, Love and mercy has given us so much,

sometimes i dun understand why i even backslided before.

it all goes back to Ps 63:3 ba,

“Because your love is better than Life”

His love is really above all things

and that, Makes me smile (:

How much God can give to us,

How limited we are,

How great is His love.

Amazes me much.

“stirring as we pray and seek,

We’re on our knees”

We bow in awe of you, Jesus.

i must say that today has been an interesting day.

starting my journal earlier in lieu of my little “sermon”

yup,

erm, today, it turned out that there was no intercession,

so our session started earlier,

but it ended up dragged,

oh wells,

it doesn’t matter because it was a great sermon.

today Pastor chin lee talked about “How to preach the gospel”

He shared on Romans 1:16 which says:

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, Because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. First for the Jews, then for the Gentiles.”

he asked us to memorise this verse :p

His life testimony is so so so good.

for example the time when he was at the beach,

jogging,

then he saw this lady which had a number 23 on the back of her shirt,

so the Holy Spirit prompted him to talked to her,

and asked her a very direct question,

“Are you A Christian?”

yup, so they talked,

and after that, the lady accepted Christ.

and not just that, a few weeks later, her husband too accepted Christ (:

yup, so thats one.

and he has this amazing poker cards that is able to share Christ :P.

oh man, if i have the chance next time,

i’ll haunt for them!

which speaks of that,

i haven’t done my treasure hunt.

Today has been a great day,

in a special way.

Today’s session started at 9.30, because intercession was pushed later,

so we were required to do devotion and all,

and then when SP came in,

he tried to know more about us,

and asked us about small beginnings and stuff.

he told us that in every church,

there is a mission, vision, value and strategy.

the mission for every church is the same,

but the strategy of every church is different (:

sometimes, we mix up mission with the strategy,

so we need to define mission and strategy.

mission is what God has called us to do,

whereas strategy is what do we do to fulfill that mission (:

WAHHAAHH.

i gain quite a lot of spiritual insights during intercession,

in a way or another.

Christmas lunch was kinda, alright.

but quite cool.

well,

after that,

while the rest helped out the youth church in packing the musical gifts,

i went and helped the children side,

im actually kinda curious how does the gifts look like, actually.

but yeah,the children side needs help.

so i have to definately work there,

and as a result, OT-ed.

but i guess,

if im doing something i like,

i dun mind Ot-ing.

but if im doing something i dun like,

I’ll not enjoy the OT.

so i guess its a good day (:

but all in all,

today i’ve learnt that,

in life, you have to try different ways for it to work.

But sometimes, you have to leave it to the “upper” person to do it.

and in this case, God (:

today’s intercession taught us how to count our blessings,

as led by pastor chin lee.

interesting way, i would say,

a different style, i guess.

hAH, today was clement’s teaching on the Gospels.

cos i guess its interesting because other than the fact that clement was a funny guy,

He really thought us how to look in deeply

and well, see the gospel in a little different perspective.

Mark, Matthew and Luke were synostic(?) gospels,

which means they kinda ‘share’ their verses and all.

while John concentrated on the spirituality of the Gospel

thats why John was probably a “loner” gospel.

In Luke, Luke tries to describe every single detail of Jesus’ life.

More classy in the ancient scripts i guess.

Clement also mentioned this thing about “source Q”, which i thought was quite interesting.

Matthew has 5 different teachings,

yup.

the different  scriptures were looked at differently today,

as in, well,

more deeply, and with more meaning.

i copied a lot of notes,

but as i reflect,

i find the the Lord has been really good.

and all powerful,

Like over the years, people have been trying to destroy the bible,

destroy it from history,

but God has seen us through,

people have been persecuted for their faith,

but we are still here,

reading His word,

It’s amazing lor.

and is good,

it really widens the perspective, in a way.

to see the backstage work going on and stuff (:

next experience.

but in a different group.

so they will listen,

somehow i dun believe in myself,

like the verses that are coming out is from God anymore.

thats how terrible it is now,

its about Hearing God’s voice in an audible way.

Eph 4:10 :10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far ^R212 above all the heavens, so that He might fill ^R213 all things.)

In finding a mentee,

today was taught that there are 5 areas,

given by the word F.A.I.T.H

Faithfulness,Availability,initiative,teachabale,hungry

and there are 6 areas in which a mentor must have,

Intergrity,initiative,influence,identity,intimacy,inner character

and we also learnt that mentoring is a relational experience between either the mentor and the mentee, or through peer mentoring.

somehow, i dunno,

im getting dry.

God, search me, and help me.
